When you book a call, we collect your name and email address and, if you choose to give them, your company, phone number and a note about what you would like to discuss. We use these to schedule and prepare for the call. When you use the chat on our website, we collect what you type and any contact details you share. When you apply for a role, we collect the CV and information you send to careers@tipstat.com and use them to assess your application. When you apply to a Tipstat hackathon, we collect what you enter in the application form, such as your name, contact details, city, GitHub and other profile links, your answers about your work, and your food and attendance preferences, and use them to select participants and run the event. When you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can reply.

When you visit tipstat.com, our web server and the services below receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the page that referred you. Some of these services use cookies or similar technologies:

• Leadfeeder (Dealfront) uses the IP address of a visit to identify the organisation it comes from, such as a company’s office network, and records which pages were viewed. We use this to understand which organisations are interested in our services, and we may contact those organisations about them. We use it to identify organisations, not individual people. It sets a cookie (_lfa) to recognise repeat visits.
• The LinkedIn Insight Tag helps us measure our LinkedIn advertising, see aggregated information about the kinds of companies and roles that visit our site, and show our ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited it.
• Google Ads conversion tracking measures how well our Google advertising works.
• Pipedrive LeadBooster provides the chat on our website. Chat messages are stored in Pipedrive, which we use to manage our customer relationships.
